ASTRONOMY Introductory survey of astronomical universe. Includes study of the Earth as astronomical body as well as the physical processes which govern the evolution of planetary systems, stars, galaxies and the universe in general. Much emphasis on observational evidence, historical tests, and the scientific method.

May include planetarium and/or observing activities as part of the class. Multiple credit course. May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 3 credits, but grade forgiveness cannot be applied.
