ENGINEERING MATERIALS AND PROCESSES Survey of basic materials used in industry (metallic and non-metallic) and processes used to form, fabricate, and finish these materials, including materials and methods used in construction. Students select various topics for class presentation. Variety of audio visual material enhances student understanding of topics. This course includes learning activities to ensure competence in oral communication. (Special Fee: $26.00).

HYDRAULICS AND HYDROLOGY Recommended Prerequisite: ETC 1320 and MTB 2321C A study in basic theory and design of hydrology related to drainage areas, storm water runoff and stream-flow analysis. This course also includes a study in basic theory and design of hydraulics of flow in pipes and in open channels. Design concepts, techniques, and illustrations of hydrology and hydraulics will be utilized.
