PRINCIPLES OF IRRIGATION Provides instruction in the various types, installation methods, maintenance techniques, and repair of sprinklers, pipes, back-flow devices, valves, wiring, and controllers used in the landscape and agriculture irrigation industry. Emphasizes basic principles of plant-soil-moisture relations and water movement in soil. Labs topics include the installation of a sprinkler’s system, as well as repairing existing systems, diagnosing valve and wiring problems, and the proper scheduling of controllers.
