Valencia College publishes an Academic Calendar each year that establishes key dates and deadlines for academic and enrollment activities. Students are responsible for reviewing and adhering to all published dates.
The Academic Calendar includes key dates such as term start and end dates, registration periods and time-ticketing windows, Drop/Refund and Withdrawal Deadlines, academic holidays and College closures, and Commencement dates.
Terms and Parts of Term
The College operates on an academic year that includes three primary terms: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Shorter instructional periods, referred to as parts of term, may be offered within each primary term. Dates and deadlines may vary by part of term.
Student Responsibility
Students are expected to consult the Academic Calendar regularly and plan enrollment decisions in accordance with published deadlines. Failure to meet deadlines may impact registration, financial aid eligibility, payment obligations, or academic progress.

The Academic Calendar is approved through College governance and is typically published in advance of each academic year. Updates or adjustments may occur when necessary and will be reflected on the official College website.
