SPC 1017. INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION.

INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION Introduces students to the full range of communication from interpersonal communication and team communication to public speaking. Students explore fundamental communication concepts and topics and develop skills to put these principles to work. Minimum grade of C is required if SPC 1017 is used to satisfy Gordon Rule and general education requirements.

SPC 1608. FUNDAMENTALS OF SPEECH.

FUNDAMENTALS OF SPEECH Principles of oral communication common to public speaking and listening. Emphasis on listening techniques, preparation and delivery techniques for extemporaneous speaking. Gordon Rule course which requires demonstration of college level writing skills through multiple assignments. Minimum grade of C required if used to satisfy Gordon Rule requirement.

SPC 1608H. FUNDAMENTALS OF SPEECH - HONORS.

FUNDAMENTALS OF SPEECH - HONORS Same as SPC 1608 with Honors content. Minimum grade of C is required if SPC 1608 is used to satisfy Gordon Rule and general education requirements. Honors program permission required.

SPC 2930. SELECTED TOPICS IN SPEECH.

SELECTED TOPICS IN SPEECH Seminar for students interested in research, discussion, and observation of special topics in speech. Multiple credit course. May be repeated for credit, but grade forgiveness cannot be applied.
