ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING I Prerequisite: BCN 1303C Covers residential design and wood frame construction with additional study in aspects of housing, aesthetics and working drawings. Students prepare assigned drawings. (Special Fee: $28.00).

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN Prerequisites: TAR 1120C Introduction to architectural planning and design. Use of project team concept. Student projects include shopping centers, industrial complexes, production facilities, apartment complexes, high-rise buildings, etc. Students prepare necessary drawings to construct project, including site plan, building plans, sections, etc. Students also build model of their project. (Special Fee: $28.00).

INTRODUCTION TO ARCHITECTURAL REVIT Prerequisite: TAR 1120C or Departmental Approval This hands-on, lab-based course introduces students to the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques to generate digital models of buildings. Information associated with BIM models is used throughout the life-cycle of a building, from design and documentation to construction and facility management. Primary focus is on developing basic skills in using AutoDesk Revit Architecture software to model actual projects.

ADVANCED ARCHITECTURAL REVIT Prerequisite: TAR 2170C or Departmental Approval This hands-on, lab-based course exposes students to the use of advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques to generate digital architectural models. Information associated with BIM models is used throughout the lifecycle of a building, from design and documentation to construction and facility management. Primary focus is on developing advanced skills in using AutoDesk Revit Architecture software to model actual projects.
