Valencia College publishes President's List and Dean's List honors each term in recognition of high academic achievement. Term honors appear on the student's official Valencia College transcript as part of the academic record for each term of recognition.
To qualify for term honors, a student must:
- Successfully complete at least six (6) college-level or developmental credits in the term, and
- Have no grades of F, I, M, W, WN, R20, or U in the term
Eligible students are recognized as follows:
- President's List: Term GPA of 3.75 – 4.00
- Dean's List: Term GPA of 3.50 – 3.74
President's and Dean's Lists are posted once per term on the Valencia College website after final grades are processed.
Questions regarding inclusion on the President's or Dean's List may be directed to the Registrar's Office.
Graduation Honors
Graduation honors are based on the student's overall GPA for all grades earned prior to the final graduation term. Students who earn an overall GPA of 3.75 or higher graduate with Honors recognition.
