Articulation is the process by which Florida schools and colleges coordinate to ensure students can transfer smoothly and keep the credits they've earned. These agreements between Valencia College and specific programs at various universities provide students with opportunities to continue their educational goals and transfer credits from their A.S. degree toward a bachelor's degree.
Certain A.S. degrees transition to bachelor's degree programs in Florida's public university system. These degrees, called Articulated A.S. to B.A./B.S. Career Path degrees, are designed for students who seek immediate employment in the specified field and who decide to continue to a Florida public university as a junior to complete a bachelor’s degree in the specified field.
Section 1007.23, Florida Statutes, establishes statewide articulation agreements and facilitates the seamless transition of students among Florida's colleges and universities. These agreements are intended to serve as a minimum guarantee of articulated credit and do not preclude institutions from granting additional credit under local agreements. Below is a list of the various
statewide career pathways articulation agreements currently available to students.
Some A.S. Degrees will also transfer into specific 2+2 bachelor's degree programs that are offered at Florida State Colleges. Valencia College offers the following 2 + 2 Bachelor’s Degrees:

*All of Valencia's A.A./A.S. Degrees will transfer into Valencia's B.A.S. (Bachelor of Applied Science) degree in Business and Organizational Leadership. The B.A.S. degree prepares students for supervisory and management roles in their respective fields. This degree will provide you with the essential skills to develop an effective business plan and hands-on experience with the latest industry best practices.
