Testing/Placement Charts

Valid test scores will be received if test dates are within the past two-years. Test scores on record may be used for placement into courses in math, reading, writing, and/or composition as indicated in the below charts if test dates are less than two-years old at the time of term registration. Students who are exempt from placement testing under Florida Statute 1008.30 will not be required to enroll in developmental education courses.

Intensive English Program (IEP) to English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Bridge Agreement

Immigrants, Non-Immigrants (international students), refugees and U.S. citizens who do not speak English as a native language may qualify for placement in EAP classes after fulfilling IEP requirements as stated in the Valencia College Intensive English Program (IEP) to English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Bridge Agreement. Upon completion of 2 sessions in the Intensive English Program, students who meet the requirements below can be placed in EAP courses as specified below.
